Katherine Aronsson moved to Southern California from Sweden. She studied Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Design and Management at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden and proceeded to work in a fast paced consulting environment and later joined Real Estate world. Passionate about the water, climate, landscape and yoga (the mind body connection) the move to Santa Monica was a natural fit.

As we navigate a time of significant change in our industry, it is more important than ever that we come together to strengthen and uplift our Beaches Region. My goal is to ensure that every one of us is informed and educated about these changes so that we can elevate our profession together. As the former President of our local Women’s Council of Realtors network, I have had the privilege of leading, learning, and growing within our community. As I transition from that role, I am eager to bring the knowledge and experience I’ve gained to benefit our region. My commitment is to help you—my colleagues—connect, grow, and thrive together. As a broker and owner of a boutique real estate office here on the Westside, I am deeply invested in this community. Having a community to rely on and learn from is always important but I believe it will be more important than ever in the coming year. I would be honored to serve alongside our industry’s leaders during this upcoming season of change and transformation. We are in a critical time in our industry as we redefine our value and continue offering the utmost care to our clients. We can’t do this alone and we need our association and colleagues to work together to continue bringing excellence to real estate. This is why I’m excited about the opportunity to serve on GLAR’s board and represent our members best interests. My focus is on enhancing engagement between members and the association and between members so they may find a support system within GLAR.

I am honored to run for the Region 3 Beverly Hills Vice Chair position. As I was fortunate to serve as a Vice Chair at the Global Committee for a few years and, currently sitting at the Greater Los Angeles Realtors Board of Directors position. Who May Vote –

Only REALTOR® members (primary and secondary), are entitled to vote. Eligibility to vote is established 30 days prior to the election. Members may vote for one Regional Vice Chair candidate in their preferred region. Out of Area Members may choose which Region they will Region to cast their ballot. (out of area members need to know they will have an extra step)
