The Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Leadership Academy is GLAR’s premier leadership development program, designed to equip emerging and established real estate professionals with the skills, perspective, and connections needed to lead with confidence and impact.

Now in its second year, the Academy brings together a select cohort of participants for eight interactive sessions led by respected voices from across the real estate industry. Instructors and guest experts include 2026 C.A.R. President Tamara Suminski, Dr. Janet Mills, and other leaders who offer real-world insight into leadership, governance, advocacy, and professional growth.

The program is designed for REALTORS® who want to step into larger leadership roles, within their brokerages, the association, and the broader community. Participants explore leadership styles, strengthen decision-making and communication skills, and build lasting professional relationships that extend well beyond the classroom.

Through a mix of hands-on learning, discussion, and mentorship, the GLAR Leadership Academy provides practical tools and perspective participants can immediately apply to their careers, while fostering a deeper understanding of service-driven leadership in the real estate industry.
