The GLAR Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit now entering its 20th year that is dedicated to providing funds, professional assistance and assets to individuals in need. The foundation has a focus on granting funds to organizations working on housing needs, neighborhood improvements in depressed areas and other housing-related goals.
Over the past 20 years, the GLAR Charitable Foundation has had the honor of distributing over $182,000 in funds to local nonprofits including Midnight Mission, Downtown Women's Center, PATH, L.A. Mission, LGBTQ Center, Safe Place for Youth, Covenant House, Youth Emerging Stronger, St Joseph's Center, Boys and Girls Club, the YMCA, Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Upward Bound, SCANPH, Habitat for Humanity, and has hosted blood drives for Cedars Sinai Medical Center, the American Red Cross and Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
