Visit https://www.edd.ca.gov/Unemployment/UI_Online.htm to create an account to provide the required information and certify for benefits. 

Once you create your UI Online account, you can log-in to file your claim, certify for continued benefits, verify income and update your information.

You may be eligible for PUA benefits if you’re an independent contractor, self-employed, business owner or gig worker and you’re unemployed, partially unemployed, unable to work or unavailable to work as a direct result of a COVID-19 reason. You may also be eligible for PUA benefits if you don’t have sufficient work history.
