The California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) and GLAR are opposed to Senate Bill 679, which would create an unelected housing finance agency in Los Angeles County with broad new tax and bond authority powers. 

This would create a costly appointed board, requiring homeowners to subsidize corporate for-profit and government subsidized housing developments without any accountability to voters.
