2025 Legal Update with Gov Hutchinson

More than 120 GLAR members gathered at the Taglyan Complex on April 23rd for our annual Legal Update event to hear from C.A.R. Counsel Gov Hutchinson and GLAR leaders about trending legal and market issues that could impact their transactions.
During this sold out event, Gov Hutchinson covered the newest California laws that impact real estate and shared insights into how REALTORS® can help their clients navigate these new regulations and processes, and covered the recent changes and updates to C.A.R. forms as well as any new forms members may need to know about. This knowledge is essential to keeping transactions on track and helping clients successfully reach the closing table.
GLAR leaders including 2025 President Anne Russell and CEO Wyndi Austin covered the association’s recent initiatives to boost member involvement and member value, including the GLAR Leadership Academy and the association’s new strategic plan. GLAR’s Government Affairs Director Jerard Wright shared the latest advocacy updates and legislation to watch at the city and county level, and explained how the proposals under consideration by city and county councils could impact real estate and housing opportunities.
