GLAR advocates for your interests as a REALTOR® with local and state level legislators to ensure that you and your clients are able to continue to efficiently and effectively buy and sell real estate. Our advocacy does not belong to red or blue, or to the left or right, but to the ethics and values that we hold true to as REALTORS®.

Our policy priorities are to protect private property rights, advocate for homeownership opportunities and housing availability, and to ensure that the American dream of homeownership is available to all.

We accomplish this advocacy through the volunteer efforts of our Government Affairs Committee, the Local Candidates Recommendation Committee (LCRC), as well as through the relationship building efforts and expertise of our Government Affairs Director.
