On Tuesday, September 30th Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Commercial Committee hosted GLAR Commercial: Exploring Temecula Wine Region.

Once the GLAR contingent arrived, they met Annette Brown, Chief Marketing Officer for Visit Temecula Valley. Annette gave us some history of the valley and what they are working on for the near future. She then guided us through a walking tour of Old Town Temecula. The first stop was at the Temecula Olive Oil Company, where they enjoyed a tasting of extra virgin olive oils and small batch balsamicos, cultivated and cold-pressed mere miles from your tasting location. As the group strolled through the town we also visited the Temecula Lavender Co. and the Old Town Spice & Tea Merchants where they were able to sample a variety of teas.

After the walking tour, the group got back on the van to head to Wilson Creek Winery for a tour of the winery, a wine tasting and a beautiful al fresco buffet dinner under a canopy of vines. Guides Marcus and Mason walked the group through the property and explained the entire process of how grapes on a vine become wine in a bottle. They got a taste of all of signature wines & blends that they have been producing for over 29 years.
