GLAR Commercial Outlook Brings Together Economic and Lending Perspectives

On August 6, the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® hosted Commercial Outlook 2026 for a closer look at the economic trends and lending conditions shaping Greater Los Angeles and California’s commercial real estate market. Oscar Wei, Deputy Chief Economist for the California Association of REALTORS®, explored what may be ahead for commercial real estate in Los Angeles and across the state as the economy moves through the second half of 2026 and into 2027.
The conversation then turned to lending, with a panel exploring how current economic conditions are translating into financing decisions and opportunities. Tica O’Neill of Molloy Real Estate Services moderated the discussion with Caitlin Chen of California Bank & Trust and Sarkis Daldumyan of Oakridge Capital Advisors, Inc., bringing a practical perspective to the trends and challenges shaping commercial lending today.
Commercial Outlook 2026 is part of GLAR’s ongoing commitment to bringing members timely market insights and access to respected industry voices. We look forward to continuing to create opportunities that help our members stay informed about the issues and trends shaping real estate in Greater Los Angeles and across California.
