GLAR Donates $75,000 to C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund

The Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® (GLAR) is making a $75,000 donation to the C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund to support the victims of the recent Los Angeles region wildfires and future natural disasters. This donation will help replenish the fund after the unprecedented demand from the wildfires and is an expression of the association’s gratitude for the fund’s support of its members impacted by the disaster.
“The C.A.R. Disaster Relief Fund has been a vital source of support for our members who faced significant challenges due to the wildfires, including property damage, destruction, and displacement,” says 2025 GLAR President Anne Russell. “While more than 100 of our members were affected, we are grateful that many were able to receive assistance. We deeply appreciate C.A.R.’s dedication to helping REALTORS® in times of crisis and remain committed to ensuring these critical resources continue to be available whenever and wherever they are needed.”
The Disaster Relief Fund has paid out more than $1,000,000 worth of grants to those impacted by the wildfires to date. Founded in the wake of the devastating 2003 California wildfires, the fund is intended to help members of the REALTOR® family who incur substantial losses due to the fires.
