Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Names Wyndi Austin New Chief Executive Officer

After a nationwide search, the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® (GLAR) is pleased to announce the hiring of Wyndi D. Austin as the association’s new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). As CEO, Wyndi will oversee the day-to-day operations of the association with a focus on increasing member engagement and delivering outstanding value to Los Angeles region REALTORS® as the real estate industry continues to change and evolve.

She is a seasoned leader in association management with nearly two decades of executive experience. As CEO of the Ventura County Coastal Association of REALTORS® (VCCAR) and Ventura County Multiple Listing Service, Inc., she has led operations for the member association and Multiple Listing Service, driving strategic initiatives, managing complex budgets, and fostering member engagement through innovative leadership development programs.

Beyond her association expertise, Wyndi brings a strong background in technology and business. She co-founded Piranha Interactive Publishing, a software startup, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the business and taking it public. Additionally, she served as Marketing Manager for The Rich Dad Company, helping expand financial education programs and build brand visibility.

Throughout her career, Wyndi has driven sustainable increases in member engagement on committees, working groups and advocacy initiatives, and has successfully managed transitions including consolidation efforts, building relationships with neighboring associations, and multiple listing service revamps.

Wyndi has earned notable industry achievements and honors achieving the Certified Association Executive (CAE) Designation from the American Society of Association Executives, and the RCE, AHWD, C2EX, and ePRO® certifications from NAR. She has most recently served on the 2024 California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) Diversity Committee’s Local Associations Model Policy

Working Group, the 2025-2026 Real Estate Business Services (REBS) Board of Directors, and the 2025 California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) Executive Committee. She also serves on NAR’s 2024 AE Institute Advisory Board.
