In partnership with the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® hosted a networking Meet and Greet with West Hollywood Mayor Chelsea Byers. The event took place Monday, June 30th at the Sky Lounge in Domain West Hollywood. Discussions with Mayor Byers focused on growing the city’s revenue through smart budgeting and making sure small business voices are heard, as the Mayor stressed the importance of keeping the Chamber involved.

As West Hollywood celebrates its 40th anniversary, Mayor Byers shared her goals for improving metro access, updating zoning rules, and hosting seasonal community events like the citywide art walk. She also discussed safety efforts such as partnering with Block by Block to make sure commuters are never alone when walking home at night. Other highlights included Santa Monica Boulevard’s new recognition as the Rainbow District and the launch of the “WeHo Loves Locals” Gift Card Program, to support local businesses. GLAR looks forward to having an active role and keeping both our members and the community engaged as these plans move forward.
